Terms of Service

SimpleTag ("SimpleTag", "we", "us") provides tools for creating and hosting simple web pages, capturing leads, and sharing your page through links, QR codes, and NFC tags at simpletag.me. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Your account

You need an account to create pages. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. You must provide accurate account information and be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live, to use SimpleTag.

Your content

You own the content you put on your pages: text, images, links, and anything you import from your own website. By publishing a page you grant us the license needed to host, store, and display that content to visitors, which is the entire purpose of the service. We claim no other rights to it.

You are responsible for the content you publish, including content drafted for you by the AI assistant. AI drafts are suggestions built from your own words and the facts you approve; you review and approve everything before it goes live, and what you publish is yours.

You agree not to publish or use the service for:

• anything illegal, fraudulent, or deceptive, including impersonating another person or business
• malware, phishing, or attempts to compromise other systems or accounts
• spam or bulk unsolicited outreach
• content that infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy
• harassment, hate, or content that sexualizes minors in any form

Adult or otherwise sensitive content must use the sensitive-content warning available in the editor so visitors can consent before viewing. Anyone can flag a page through the report form; we review reports and may unpublish pages or close accounts that break these rules.

Importing your website

When you give us a website address, we fetch that site to extract facts and images for your review. Only provide sites you own or have the right to reuse content from. Imported material becomes part of your content and your responsibility.

Plans and payment

SimpleTag offers a free plan, a paid Pro subscription, and physical products (such as NFC tags). Prices are shown before you buy, and payment is processed by Stripe on a hosted checkout page. Subscriptions renew monthly until canceled; to cancel or change your subscription, contact support@simpletag.me and we will process it promptly.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service fast and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may add, change, or remove features. If we ever discontinue the service or your account, we will make reasonable efforts to give you notice and a way to export your content.

Termination

You can stop using SimpleTag and delete your pages at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, create risk for the service or other users, or are required to be closed by law.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SimpleTag is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars if you have paid nothing.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new date, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
